The Agent Opportunity Portfolio
A prioritized, ranked list of agent-loop opportunities — so you stop chasing whichever idea got pitched loudest.
Every opportunity in the portfolio is scored against the same instrument:
- Saturation Readiness — whether a cheaper model plus harness is already good enough for the task
- Economic Priority — whether the task is worth anyone's engineering time in the first place
- Harness Durability — whether the investment survives the next model upgrade or gets erased by it
Each candidate is then checked against the gates that override the math when quality, error severity, evaluability, drift risk, or hidden failure risk say the numbers cannot be trusted yet.
What each entry includes
- The process description and current human labor involved
- Input and output requirements, and systems touched
- Risk level and human-approval requirements
- Recommended automation pattern and likely return
- A recommended vendor or build path
- A pilot plan
